1st course- Start with a flat level base 6-8” in thickness. Making sure the water feature will fit into area. The dimension of the water feature is approximately 8’ by 4’ area. Using 8 Munich wall block, laying them from end to end leveling each block in a straight line. Counting from the left as when facing the CST water feature kit, remove the third block installed and replace with two 1/3 blocks as pictured.
Figure 2 (Click to enlarge)
1st course- Place CST water feature tub (included with kit) by centering the tub to the middle of the back wall. At this time placement of the 2” flex pipe and electrical cord of submergible pump is to be placed through the 1/3 section on block which is open. Follow direction provided with the color falls unit for plumbing installation. At this point installation of the submergible pump should be done. Do not attach the large black pipe to the spill way unit yet. That will come later. Placement of 12 medium radius Munich wall units will be placed around the outside perimeter of the CST water feature tub. The medium radius Munich units will not fit tightly to the tub. Dry fitting the radius units around the tub first is the best practice. Make sure the gaping of the back side of the radius blocks are fairly even to each other. This will insure an even half circle. Level each unit. The measurement will be approximately 22 ¾ “radius from the center of the back wall to the back side of the medium radius Munich wall unit.

2nd course- Starting with the back wall – use half units on each end (provided) of the Munich wall units and using 7 full Munich wall units in the middle. You will bridge over the 1/3 opening where the plumbing comes through the bottom course. Radius wall – use a half units (provided) of Medium radius Munich wall units on each end of the tub area and 11 full medium radius wall units to fill in the radius. Place block on half bond from the course below. Refer to photo with figure 3. Dry fit all units before using adhesive. Once dry fitted, adhere each block to the course below.

Radius wall – use a half units (provided) of Medium radius Munich wall units on each end of the tub area and 11 full medium radius wall units to fill in the radius. Place block on half bond from the course below. Dry fit all units before using adhesive. This will be the last course for medium radius Munich wall units.

5th course on back wall only- start from either end using full 8 Munich wall units. Dry fit, and then adhere.

Figure 7 (Click to enlarge)
6th course of block on back wall only- starting with half Munich wall units on either end and place 7 full units across the middle of the wall keeping block on half bond from the course below.

Figure 8 (Click to enlarge)
7th course of back wall only- Using 8 full Munich wall units and 2-3 ½ “x 4”’x12” units. Starting with 3 Munich wall units on either end turn the block perpendicular to the course below. Place a full Munich wall unit then 2 cut 3 ½ x4x 12 units. There are only two of these cuts with the kit. Place the cut units with the height of the units at 3 ½” and 12” long as in photo.

Figure 9 (Click to enlarge)
These two units will be where the spill way unit will be placed. Do not adhere this course until the spill way unit for the water feature has its side plugs in place and is dry fitted to the opening. Follow the directions for attaching side plugs and plumbing provided with the kit.

Figure 10 (Click to enlarge)
Some shimming may be needed to steady the spill way unit until the next course of block is placed.

Figure 11 (Click to enlarge)
Make sure the spill way over hangs the front of the back wall between 3/4" - 1". This will make sure the water clears the wall unit and cascades into the tub below.

Figure 12 (Click to enlarge)
8th course of back wall only- Using 5 full Munich wall units. Starting with 1 Munich wall units on either end turn the block perpendicular to the course below. Place 3 Munich wall units parallel on half bond to the course below. Important-Take care with placement of block across the top of the spill way unit. It is plastic and will break/crack if a Munich wall unit is dropped or placed too firmly on top of the unit. Adhere the Munich wall in place once it has been dry fitted first.

9th course of block on back wall only- Using 4 full Munich wall. Starting with 1 Munich wall units on either end turn the block perpendicular to the course below. Place 2 Munich wall units parallel on half bond to the course below. Important-Take care with placement of block across the top of the spill way unit. It is plastic and will break/crack if a Munich wall unit is dropped or placed too firmly on top of the unit. Adhere the Munich wall in place once it has been dry fitted first.

10th course of block on the back wall only- Using 4 Munich wall units turn all 4 units perpendicular to the course underneath. Center the units on the very top of the water feature. Adhere units once they have been dry fitted.

Figure 15 (Click to enlarge)
Once the water feature is complete place 2 half wet cast cap and 1 full piece on top of the lower radius wall area to finish off the unit. Adhere the capping once it has been dry fitted.

once Your CST water feature is complete fill the unit up with the recommended amount of water as per the plumbing directions and turn on the unit making sure it does not leak. 4 bags of decorative stone (Not Provided) to finish off the splash area of Your CST water feature kit. It is recommended that a smaller stone aggregate (1 ½ size or less) should be used within the splash down area. This will lessen splashing of the water from the unit. The Stones may be positioned so over splash can be managed to stay within the unit. Check the instructions for the Plumbing to set color range of lights and water speed to create the prefect ambiance. Enjoy your CST Water Feature!
